Operation Mitch Relief for Guanaja, Roatan, Honduras and Nicaragua

The ravages of hurricane Mitch and the intense rains that followed have left the people of Honduras and Nicaragua suffering tremendous hardships. This devastating storm brought high water, extreme flooding, destroyed bridges and reads, mud slides etc. You have already seen on television the damage that was done on the mainland. With bridges out and airport runways washed out access is all but impossible. The islands of Roatan and Guanaja are 40 miles offshore making access even more difficult There are very few homes left standing on the Island of Guanaja, there is no electrical power or communication. The damage is also extensive on the island of Roatan.
